How do I book a class or private session?

You can book directly through the Mindbody app or our website under “Book a Class.”

For first-time clients, we recommend beginning with an Intro Privé Discovery Series (3 sessions) to establish your foundation and goals — or by joining a drop-in Beginner, Level I, or All-Level class to experience the atmosphere and find your natural rhythm.

What is the difference between a Privé, Duet, Trio, and Group class?

Privé: Fully private one-on-one training curated for your body and goals.
Duet: Two participants train together with personalized attention.
Trio: A small group of three friends or clients working in harmony.
Group Classes: Semi-private setting (max 5–7 participants) blending precision, flow, and energy.

Do I need prior experience?

Not at all — all levels are welcome!

We offer Beginner and Level II Flow options, guiding you safely through the principles of movement so you can progress at your own rhythm.

Question 6

What should I wear and bring?

Accepted Answer

Wear comfortable, fitted clothing that allows freedom of movement and clear alignment visibility.
Grip socks are recommended but not obligatory.

If any foot condition or fungus is known, socks must be worn for hygiene and safety.
Please arrive with clean feet.

Water and small towels are provided, though you’re welcome to bring your own water bottle — and, most importantly, your open mind.

What is your cancellation policy?

Accepted Answer

We honor a 24-hour cancellation window for all bookings.
Cancellations within 24 hours will be deducted from your package or class credit.
Membership classes are auto-drafted monthly regardless of attendance, but allow make-up sessions within the same billing cycle (subject to availability).

Do you offer memberships or packages?

Yes.
Memberships: Reserved weekly classes (1x, 2x, or 3x per week), auto-drafted monthly.
Packages: 4, 8, or 12-session cards for flexible scheduling, valid for a set period.
Introductory and renewal specials are offered seasonally.

Can I visit the studio before joining?

Yes! We welcome studio visits by appointment.

Because we’re often teaching, please schedule a short meeting time via our “Visit the Studio” contact form so we can greet you personally.

Yes, though availability varies seasonally.

Private and small group slots fill quickly — new clients are encouraged to join our waitlist or begin with a mat or barre class while waiting for a Privé opening

What if I’m recovering from an injury or have special conditions?

Our instructors specialize in rehabilitative and postural training.
Please inform us in advance so we can tailor your session safely.
Medical clearance may be required for certain conditions.

Do you offer teacher training or mentorship

Yes.

Studio SŪD is an affiliate of the Pilates Certification Online (PCO) program by Performing Arts Physical Therapy – Los Angeles (Dr. Melinda Bryan).

We also host GYROTONIC® and GYROKINESIS® trainings and mentorship programs for movement professionals.
